April 23, 2012- SmarterCape Partnership announced additional speakers for SmarterCape Summit 2 to be held on May 14th and 15th at the Sea Crest Beach Hotel in Falmouth, MA.
SmarterCape Summit has confirmed Danna Bailey Vice President, Corporate Communications for EPB as a keynote dinner speaker. Danna Baily joined EPB which is a non-profit utility company that built Chattanooga, TN broadband infrastructure in 2005. As Vice President of Corporate Communications, Danna will tell the story of Chattanooga’s successful Gig City marketing effort.
Emily Nagel Green, who has 40 years’ experience of guiding global clientele through profound connectivity change, will also be present at the Summit. From 2005 to 2010 Green was the Yankees Group’s CEO, partnering with investor Alta Communications in its acquisition and leading the transition to exploring the connected future it calls Anywhere. Green will speak on ways to support and launch entrepreneurial companies in a broadband environment.
